Join Us Saturday, December 12, 2026 for another Old-Fashioned Community Christmas Tree Lighting.

Come one, come all! Bring the kids and everyone young at heart to the historic Sperryville Schoolhouse grounds for a heartwarming, old-fashioned Christmas tree lighting.

Festivities Could Include:
Decorating the Tree: Our local youngsters will add their personal touch, hanging charming hand-made ornaments.
Music & Caroling: Get in the holiday spirit with festive music and classic carols.
Adorable Farm Animals: Cuddle up with our friendly farm animal friends!
A Special Surprise: A mysterious, special guest will be joining us!
Tractors & Photos: Capture the perfect family photo in front of our festively lit-up tractors.
Delicious Treats: Come and enjoy some nibbles as we did in 2025 when folks did enjoy classic hamburgers, hot dogs, and warm hot chocolate, served fresh by our Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H youth.

Local Kids Decorated Ornaments for the Tree

For the 2025 celebration Kids in Kindergarten to Third Grade from Rappahannock Elementary School and Wakefield Country Day School made adorable ornaments for the Merry Sperry tree at the Schoolhouse in Sperryville. Special thanks go to Amy Grady and Nikki Brady for coordinating this with the kids. The kids were so excited to see their ornaments on the tree! This was so much fun. Next time ya gotta come out and see these decorations – they are always so delightful!

Making a Difference:
All donated proceeds from the event will directly benefit our wonderful FFA and 4-H programs. Your support helps our local youth thrive!
